The Gospel of Jesus Christ is Good News for all people, every day, everywhere. The Gospel is Good News that impacts not just the current day, but our eternal destiny. The Good News is this: Jesus died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day, and ascended to heaven (1 Corinthians 15:3, Acts 1:9). Why is this such great news for everyone? Because the Bible teaches that we are all dead in our sins, that we have missed the glory of God, that we are enemies of a holy God, and on our own, cannot remove the wrath of God, that our sins justly deserve (Ephesians 2:1, Romans 5:8, Romans 3:23, John 3:36).
But God sent his Son, Jesus, the Lamb of God, in order that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus is the only way to the Father, He is the eternal truth revealed in the flesh, and it is in His Name alone that a person can have forgiveness of sins and receive the gift of eternal life (John 1:29, 3:16-17, 14:6, 1:14, Acts 4:12). Jesus is the only hope for an eternity with God in heaven. We are saved by God’s grace through faith in the Person of Jesus Christ.
That is Good News that transforms eternity!
