Student Ministry

Our goal at MHC with the student is the Lord brings us is simple: we want our youth to know Christ, and to let the truth of God’s Word permeate their lives, actions, hopes, and aspirations. We desire to be a reinforcement to the relational foundation for how our youth approach problems and decisions they face daily and for their future. We want them to build relationships with their parents, the parents of their friends, and all other Christians from all generations within the church. We want them to be connected to each other, to be there for each other, to care for each other, to enjoy life with each other, and to joyfully serve others together.

Sunday Schedule: Growth groups- 9 a.m.-10:15 a.m., Grades 7-12

Sunday Evening Student Group- 5:00-7:00 p.m. (alternate summer schedule)

MHC’s Student Ministry is open to all 7th-12th grade students, regardless of where they are in their journey with Jesus. Being a teenager is exciting, and has a lot of challenges. We gather at MHC and at other locations throughout northern Colorado Springs, allowing teenagers the opportunity to participate in gathered worship, hear, and consider Biblical teaching, and connect with their peers so that every student grows in Christ-honoring relationships at and during MHC’s youth ministry.

Purpose

To see students develop a love for Jesus Christ, desire to live all of life as worship before God, build godly relationships with adults and friends, and see them boldly share the Gospel of Jesus with their friends and surrounding community.
